| Il Seminato Venetian Marble Floors and Mosaics |
We design and lay decorative Venetian Marble Mosaic Floors (Terrazzo Floors) using the traditional Seminato technique. These are hand-made and can only be laid on site by experts with long experience. They are generally polished to a high reflective gloss finish, and have no joints or gaps like tiles, but have a single homogenous finish. We also create decorative and figurative mosaics of marble and glass which can be inlaid into both floors and walls. All our products can be laid alongside other types of flooring to great effect including marble tiles and parquet. Uppolished mosaics can also be laid outside using a variety of marble tesserae and naturally coloured pebblestones. This ancient art form started in Roman and Greek times, and some of the earliest known decorative floors are situated in the Middle East.
