Omeprazole is widely applied to treat evidences of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions caused by excess acidic formulations in the stomach. This injection is also used to encourage healing of corrosive esophagitis or damage to your esophagus caused by stomach acid.
Indication: As a replacement therapy of the following diseases when oral therapy is not applicable: duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer, back current esophagitis and Zollinger-Ellison symptom.
