This IR over HDMI extender kit enables you to control your source device out of sight, such as in the cabinet or in another room. It is easy to set up, just simply plug and play. The adapter simply fits on the end of a HDMI cable and allows the connection of either a TX or RX IR probe cable via the 3.5mm port conveniently located on top of the adapter, which allows you to connect the IR TX and RX horizontally with the HDMI cable and avoid blocking the other ports nearby. Furthermore, there is no switch needed for this IR over HDMI adapter, CEC and IR function can work automatically.
