Engine for Growth Solns (Z) Ltd is a Zambian-registered company whose formation was motivated by the desire of its founders to complement govnt’s efforts in diversifying the nation’s energy mix amidst challenges in the electricity subsector and the energy sector in general, and to assist in providing energy-related climate change mitigation and adaptation solutions. From the outset, the company has embarked on a program of deploying alternative & renewable, environmentally-friendly energy technologies.
The first of our projects has been installation of a biomass briquetting plant in Kalulushi district. The project is a waste-to-energy undertaking, where we will collect waste sawdust from sawmills and convert the same to the environmentally-friendly biomass briquette (also known as briquetted white coal) which shall be used in industry in place of coal for carbon emissions reduction; and in energy efficient cook stoves in households in place of charcoal as mitigation to deforestation
We are regularly Selling: biomass fuel briquettes, white coal, briquetted white coal, alternative solid fuel, solid fuel, sawdust briquettes.
