VTF was registered as a limited liability company in 1998. It is dedicated to conscientious stewardship of forestry in all its aspects, sustainable commercial agriculture, and climate-friendly housing. VTF currently operates in 850 communities in eight administrative regions of Ghana. The company has been working since inception towards sustaining and enhancing environmental, economic and social benefits of sustainable agroforestry resources to communities and the world at large. As part of its work, VTF has over the years planted 200 million trees in various locations in Ghana through its network of 300,000 plantation farmers. Approximately 1 million trees will be thinned-out in the next 12 months starting 2018 - 2022
