We are GFC-Greek Food Corridors, next Generation e-Auction cloud base infrastructure in Greece, India & the Balkans for Fruits & Vegetables, Flowers and Olive Oil synchronized with a Commodity Exchange market for Futures contracts.
The GFC model is the decentralized operation of the auction platform through a national & international network of depots/suppliers (from Greece, India & the Balkan Peninsula), with a centralized cloud base auction system and administration (let’s call it the “Dealing room”), all coordinated between the national & international markets, with a dedicated auction clock per each country/region / market.
The auction clock is a multi-trade tool, a price discovery mechanism at the service of both the buyer and the grower, providing a fair and transparent price for both ends. Buyers have access from distance in to the platform (ex. his office in Dubai) with a membership card, and can have a real time overview of what is available Nationwide, forecast inbound, etc.
