In 1965, a Wine Factory was founded in one of the horticultural and fertile villages of Ararat Valley named after Avshar. At first, the production capacity was low. The factory harvested and processed about 500-600 tons of grapes and produced sweet and dining wines. Due to the efforts of the founder and director of the factory - Temur Dzhivanovich Grigoryan, the capacity of factory was increased year after year, and in the 1970s factory had the opportunity of harvesting and processing 1000 tons of grapes a year.
