The Kansal Group, with gross asset formation of Rs.2000 million (USD 50 million) spread over Packaging, Real Estate and Education, is fast ramping up its capacities and capabilities in Flexible Packaging.
Customer responses from Domestic and International Markets have been highly positive. This combined with ISO 9001:2000 (TUV Certified), HACCP and ISO 22000:2005 (KVQA NORSK) Certifications have given Mr. Narendra Kumar, Chairman and Mr. Sandeep Kansal, Managing Director the firm basis of making substantial and state-of-the-art investments in multiple flexible packaging units at strategic locations. As much as 20% of the group investment, Rs.400 million (USD 10 million) has gone into flexible packaging.
With the startup of the third unit in November 2007, the group capabilities will include a full range of solvent based, water based and solvent less laminates and pouches, shrink sleeves, extrusion lamination and coating and hot melt coating.
