Grown in the heart of the forests of the Landes area in South West France, Quail has been reared by Caillor for over 30 years.
Situated in South West of France, Caillor is the largest producer of Quail in Europe producing over 25 million Quail and 80 million Quail eggs per year.
The plant comprises a modern abattoir with spacious plucking, chilling and processing areas. 350 000 quails are slaughtered every week, of which 50 000 are for cuts.
A weekly capacity for Quail Eggs production is of 1,000,000 eggs.
Enjoyed just as much in France as it is abroad, the Caillor quail is given pride of place on the best tables in many countries worldwide.
