Tender Touch (UK) Ltd represents 34 Primary Coffee Societies from Meru District on the Slopes of Mount Kenya. The Societies have a general membership of over 120,000 people and about 700, 000 dependants. Each member tends to only 200-500 trees on less than a hectare, as opposed to a huge estate that uses agribusiness growing methods. We think it shows in the cup. The dry fragrance is so full of ripe fruits, a cornucopia of raisin, plum, sweet orange and lemon crème, and sweet spices as well. The wet aroma has the smell of ripe stone fruits, peach, plum, apricot, and the sweetness of caramel pudding. There's a touch of cane sugar and caramel as well.
