Our company has developed a "Rapid Deployment Shelter System" (RDSS) that is a 400 sq ft unit that can be deployed by one person in under two minutes. At the touch of a button the RDSS unfolds from a standard 20 ft shipping container into a self-sufficient unit with on-board generator and heating and air conditioning system. It is self contained and it can run 72+ hours of continuous operation without refueling.
The RDSS units can be used as a communications command and control center, barracks, offices – anything !! We even have a customer interested in deploying these units as a pharmacy into disaster areas. You can deploy these into the dessert or on top of Mt. Everest if you like and be self sustaining.
