Langata specialises in African handicrafts created from the dynamic inspirations and cultures of Kenya.
The company was established as a wholesaler of Kenyan handicrafts in 1993 when the owner moved to South Africa from Kenya and is now back in Kenya. We buy directly from the craftsmen where possible. Through our growth and expansion we have witnessed suppliers who once lived in mud huts, now achieving their dreams of owning a stone house with electricity!
We have on many occassions filled large export orders (40’ containers) F.O.B. Nairobi, Kenya, with only positive feedback.
We are regularly Selling: banana fibre products, bone, jewellery, beadwork, leather, wooden carvings, soapstone, ethnic musical instruments, engraved gourds. |
