Wintec was founded in 1988 as a sourcing agent for
local silicon valley manufacturers. Through the knowledge
acquired as a sourcing agent, Wintec began
manufacturing memory modules and components for
their local manufacturing customers. Through organic
growth Wintec began reselling related computer
components in the late 1990’s. Wintec’s growth
continued and in 2003 it signed distribution partnerships
with key computer component suppliers in
North America. With its knowledge in both manufacturing
and distribution, Wintec began providing
Supply Chain Management services to top tier manufacturers
around the globe.
Today Wintec’s business units provide customers
with a group of complimentary services that ranges
from design to manufacturing to supply chain
services to distribution services.
