Guar Gum Powder – FHG
There are various names for FHG grade guar
gum, they are as under
1. Quick hydration guar gum powder
2. Rapid Hydration guar gum powder
3. Fast Hydrating guar gum powder
4. Quick Hydrating Guar gum powder
5. Diesel slurry Guar gum
It is used for fracking, shale gas
exploration, gas drilling, oil well drilling &
exploration.
Difference between regular guar and fast
hydration guar – FHG is same as between a
car with 800CC engine and 3000CC, the
distance along with speed matters, what
results regular guar gives in 2-3 hrs time, is
achieved in 3-5 min in Fast Hydration Guar.

in Fann35 Viscosity
Method of checking FANN Viscocity
Step 1. Make 2% KCL Solution,
Step 2. Add 0.48% of Guar Gum powder in
the solution
Step 3: Stir the solution for 2 min and 30
sec at 1500rpm
Step 4: Measure the viscosity in Fann 35
Viscometer after 2min & 30Sec. 300rpm
at 25’C. |
