Lens Design & Cylinder Engraving Of Optical Molds For Polymer Roll Processing:

JacoTech's announces its newest flagship massive sized - 5 axis diamond turning/milling/flycutting machining center for cylinder engraving optical molds for extrusion, casting, embossing optical quality plastic/polymer roll making processes.

We can build new water chilled green base cylinders; and engrave the round cylinders with optical based patterns for lenticular lens arrays, Fresnel, lcd, plasma, projection tv, prismatic, 3 and 4 sided cubic corner pyramids, faux, angular, free form optics.

End products include solar energy collector panels, 3D displays, 3D printing lenticular lenses, retroreflective films, and much more.

Besides offering traditional copper/chrome plated engraved cylinders; we optionally offer the longest lasting engraved cylinders in the world using JacoTech's special nickel/alloy secret formula for plating. (no copper/chrome). These special engravings last 4/8 times longer than copper/chrome. You can expect more than 4,000,000 LBS (1,920,000 KG) of engraving life during extrusion.

With our JacoTech Super-Duty plating, you receive the best optical quality because we engrave directly into JacoTech plating and do not put second top layer plating of (chrome) on top of JacoTech super-duty plating.

We can produce optical based quality engraved mould cylinders as large as 42" OD x 144" Face x 177" between centers with weights up to 15,000 pounds (7.5 tons).
