The Spirotome is designed for tissue acquisition in the breast, abdominal wall, thoracic wall, lymph nodes, thyroid, salivary glands, muscles, and liver. The main advantage is precision since it can harvest the target tissue direct and frontal. The procedure is pain free. A Spirotome procedure is inexpensive compared to other systems and can be as low as 10 USD. The Spirotome is approved by FDA and CE authorities and MRI conditional.
