High molybdenum content (6.3%) for the typical 6 Mo super austenitic stainless steel. High intensity.
Excellent corrosion resistance to chloride corrosion damage and cracks. For a variety of high-chloride
environment: bleach (sodium hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide), halogen and high levels of salt or
seawater chemicals. The main alloy content: 20% chromium, 25% Ni and 6% molybdenum. The main purpose of
this steel is water-cooled power plant using thin-walled condenser Road. High alloy content of
stainless steel is easy to make this intermediate phase of metal precipitation, thus impeding the
manufacture of thick sections or pipe.
