Trade Lead Description:
All required vehicles should be STANAG Level 1 /B6+ for protection against 7,62 x 39mm (AK47) Ball, 7,62 x 51mm NATO Ball and 5,56 x 45mm M193 NATO Ball.
a. M22TL 4x2 armored personnel carrier (APC). Should be ideal for the police on hard roads and for general transportation of passengers in a high risk areas. It should be built on a Toyota Hino Series 300 truck chassis.
b. M21 Protector 4x4 APC. This is the ideal APC for use by police in areas where 4x4 drive is required. It is preferred with RHD steering, with the steering wheel on the right hand side of the vehicle. The vehicle should be built on a Toyota Hino Series 500 truck chassis.
c. Puma M26-15 mine protected APC. The Puma M26 4x4 MPV should be ideal for use by military as well as police. It should offer ballistic as well as mine and IED protection. It should preferably use Tata 715TC 4x4 automotive parts and fully supported.
