Product: Teak wood.
Origin: Sudan.
Latin name: Tectona Grandis.
From: Forest plantation, trees of 14 years minimum.
Cut: Rough squares logs, green cut, as international standard.
Dry: Air or natural.
Specs: Rough squares logs, very little bark (few qty to avoid hits), no defects, only export quality.
Measurement: We use HOPPUS formula, Girth net x Girth net x Length net divided by 16
Sap discount: 4 CM in girth.
Length discount: 5 CM.
Moisture: Few days after sawed, air dry.
Teak logs will be delivered to your port with less humidity for trip of more than 30 days so the weight and cbm will be less than loading port in 0.5% to 2% approx.
