Product description: PAC HV (PAC R) is a premium grade purified high viscosity, high molecular weight, polyanionic cellulose, designed to provide viscosity and reduce API filtration rate to water-based drilling fluids. PAC HV (PAC R) can meet requirement of M-I SWACO, HALLIBURTON, BAKER HUGHES, Chevron and meet the API 13A Section 18 Specification.
Application/Function: Controls filtration rates;
Retards shale swelling and disintegration;
Provides supplementary viscosity in fresh water, sea water, and brine-based fluids.

Appearance: White or tan powder
Purity: 80.0% / 95.0%
Moisture: 10.0% Max
Recommended Treatment: Add PAC-HV (PAC R) in concentration of 1.4 to 5.7 kg/m³ (0.5 to 2.0 lb/bbl) to any active system. Mix slowly through a jet mixer or sift slowly into the vortex of a high-speed stirrer.
