Trade Lead Description:
An errect, annual herbs. Leaves simple, triangular, lobed, irregularly loothed, hispid. Flowers numerous, white or green in terminal. Fruits achenes, oblong, enclosed with strong hooked spines. Flowering-fruiting period September to January.
Fruits - The decoction or powder of fruits is employed in menoeehagia, gleet, rh eumatism, colic, arthritis, lumbago, pruritus, leucorrhoea, calculi, swellings, fevers, strangury, sore-throat etc. Leaves - Paste of leaves is applied on boils, abscesses, wounds etc. Roots - are useful in cancer, toxiemia, skin diseases, etc.
